About NWF Crane
MEET THE MAN
BEHIND THE
INSPECTION.
Robert Lewis founded NWF Crane Consulting & Inspections after more than four decades working in the crane and construction industry across Northwest Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Every inspection Robert performs is thorough, impartial, and backed by nationally-recognized NCCCO certification — not just a signature on a form.

His Story
OVER 40 YEARS. ONE STANDARD.
Robert Lewis started in the crane and construction industry back in the 1980s in Northwest Florida — working his way from operating boom trucks to managing lifts with 600-ton mobile cranes. Over the course of four-plus decades, he built an unmatched understanding of how cranes work, what can go wrong, and what it takes to keep a job site safe.
Along the way, Robert became a familiar face at NW Florida plants, military installations, and government facilities — leading pre-lift meetings and coordinating facility access for some of the most demanding lift operations in the Gulf Coast region.
He founded NWF Crane Consulting & Inspections to put that experience to work for equipment owners, contractors, and fleet managers who need someone they can trust — not just a form filler. When Robert signs off on an inspection, it means something.
